Plans change. This page sets out what happens when they do, across all our programmes and services. We have written it in plain English rather than legal formula, so you know where you stand before you book.
Courses and programmes
Places are limited and are reserved specifically for you from the moment you enrol. That is why the terms below exist. When someone withdraws late, the place usually cannot be filled.
Our group programmes are open to actors aged 18 and over. One-to-One Coaching is available from age 16, and where the actor is under 18 the booking is made and these terms agreed by a parent or guardian.
Payment
The Complete Screen Acting Intensive is £1,400, paid in two instalments. £700 is due at booking and secures your place. The remaining £700 is due at the midpoint of the course. For the cohort beginning 11 January 2027 that date is 2 February 2027, and we confirm it in writing when you book.
Audition & Self Tape Mastery is £600, paid in two instalments. £300 is due at booking and secures your place. The remaining £300 is due at the midpoint of the course. For the cohort beginning 6 April 2027 that date is 27 April 2027, and we confirm it in writing when you book.
We split both course fees deliberately. Most of the actors we teach are working other jobs to fund their training, and asking for the full amount in one payment puts the course out of reach for people who should be in the room. The arrangement is offered in good faith and depends on both instalments arriving as agreed.
The Actor Lab is £35 a class, booked as a block of four sessions per month and paid in advance.
One-to-One Coaching is £50 an hour, paid in advance of each session.
If you cancel before a course starts
This applies to whatever you have paid so far.
More than 14 days before the start date: full refund.
Between 7 and 14 days before the start date: 50% refund.
Less than 7 days before the start date: no refund.
We may be able to move you to a future cohort instead. That is at our discretion and depends on a place being available, but do ask. We would rather keep you than lose you.
Once a course has started
Fees you have paid are non-refundable and cannot be transferred, and any balance still outstanding remains payable in full. This applies whether or not you continue to attend.
Missed classes cannot be refunded, credited or replaced. We cannot re-run a session for one person without taking something away from the other nine. Class footage is recorded on the Complete Screen Acting Intensive and Audition & Self Tape Mastery, so you can catch up on the work you missed.
If you are paying in instalments
Your balance is due by the date we confirm when you book. Please make sure it reaches us by then.
If it does not, we may withdraw your place, and the deposit is not refunded. We would much rather that never happened. If you can see a problem coming, tell us before the date rather than after, and we will see what can be worked out.
One-to-One Coaching
Give us at least 48 hours’ notice to cancel or move a session.
More than 48 hours’ notice: full refund or reschedule.
Less than 48 hours’ notice: non-refundable.
We will try to reschedule inside 48 hours where we can, but we cannot promise it.
If you do not arrive and have not been in touch, the session is lost.
The Actor Lab
The Lab runs in monthly blocks. You book and pay for all four sessions in a month in advance.
You can cancel a block for a full refund up to 48 hours before the first session of that month. Once the block has started it is non-refundable and non-transferable.
The four sessions are yours to attend. We cannot carry unused ones into the next month or exchange them, and no-shows are not refunded.
When your tutor is working
Screen Masters is taught by people still working in the industry, and occasionally that means auditions, recalls, filming or performances land on a teaching night.
Where we can, we will tell you in advance. Where it cannot be avoided, we may bring in a substitute tutor so the session still runs. Anyone standing in will be experienced and qualified in their field, and someone we would want teaching us.
A change of tutor is not grounds for cancellation, a refund or compensation.
If we cancel
If we have to cancel, postpone or move a course, coaching session or workshop, you can choose either:
a full refund, or
a place on an alternative date, programme or session.
Anything this does not cover
No policy anticipates everything. If something has come up that is not covered here, tell us. We will look at it properly and decide case by case.
